Hey everyone! I recently came across this stunning look on Lp's website, featuring a black roof alongside black wainscoting. I can't seem to find any real-life examples of this style, and I'm really curious about what you all think. Is this a combination that works, or would it be a mistake?

I'm a bit puzzled here. Wainscoting is usually something you'd find on the inside of a house, while a roof is obviously on the outside. So mixing black wainscoting with a black roof seems kind of tricky since they serve different purposes. But if they mean the lower part of the exterior wall, I can see how that could be styled, similar to what’s done on barns!
Right! I think they're talking about the exterior's lower section. It’s kind of common to see that on barn-style homes, so it might actually work well!
