Hey everyone! I'm trying to add some storage space in the attic of my 1940's craftsman-style house. I've noticed some beams up there (I marked them in red) and I'm curious about their purpose. Can someone explain what these beams do? Also, am I allowed to remove or relocate them to create some extra space? Thanks!
