I'm in the middle of a bathroom renovation and received a limestone drop-in tub a while back. Unfortunately, I later discovered that one of the legs was shattered after it was delivered, but it was still holding together thanks to the packaging. The manufacturer and supplier aren't willing to help me out, so I'm left to deal with this on my own. I'm considering using epoxy to fix the leg and then adding some metal banding for extra support. I also thought about using spray foam underneath to help distribute the weight. Does this sound like a solid plan, or does anyone have better ideas? Should I just abandon this tub altogether? You definitely can epoxy the leg and then fiberglass around it for added strength. That way, you're reinforcing the repair. Just keep in mind, if you go with the spray foam, it might be a good idea to put down something like RedGard on the subfloor to avoid any potential water issues if moisture gets trapped underneath.
Not really part of your repair question, but if you bought the tub with a credit card, definitely check their return or protection policies. Some cards, like American Express, allow very flexible returns. I’ve had good luck getting refunds even after the typical return period. You might want to call the number on the back of your card for more info!

Sounds like a solid plan! I've never fiberglassed before either, but I heard JB Weld sheets are a good option, just make sure to follow the instructions!
