Hey everyone! I'm considering buying the M12 battery pack where you get a free 5.0 battery when you purchase the 3.0. I've heard some tips about returning the 5.0 to get a better deal, but I'm curious if I could instead return the 3.0 and keep the 5.0. Anyone tried this? What are your thoughts on the deal overall?

You should be able to return either battery if you want; however, just a heads up that I think that specific deal might be over now. So check on that first!
I'd say return the 3.0 for sure, the 5.0 is the better battery!
The deal isn’t too bad overall. If you manage to return the 3.0, the 5.0 would usually end up costing you around $62 after everything. However, if you can get a pack with two 5.0s, that might be a better option.
Actually, I just checked and the deal is still running! I'm planning to buy a few tools and return some batteries to get a better price too.
