I'm thinking about hanging my 55" TV on a plaster wall in my house, but the wall has some damage caused by the previous owners. Is it feasible to do this? Any tips for ensuring it's secure?

You can absolutely mount your TV, even on a damaged plaster wall, as long as you find the studs to anchor it properly. A good trick is to drill a couple of small holes at an angle and insert a wire, like an old coat hanger, to locate the studs. Just make sure you're securing it well into those studs for safety!

So, if I secure it to the studs, it should be safe? Just making sure before I start drilling!
