Hey folks, I have this ottoman table that I've sanded but haven't finished yet, and I've just discovered some large sauce stains on it. I'm wondering if it's salvageable at this point. What steps should I take to fix the stains and properly stain the table afterward? Any advice would be appreciated!

Removing those stains might be a challenge since the table is unfinished. Generally, furniture is finished to protect it from spills and stains. You could try cleaning it with a mix of mild soap and water or a soft cloth, but it might not completely work. If it's really bad, just keeping it in mind that sometimes you might have to live with a few blemishes on unfinished wood could save you some headache!
That’s true, but if it were me, I’d definitely give it a shot! Scrubbing lightly might help, especially if it’s dried sauce.
