Can I Set Up 3 Strings of 19 Panels on My Growatt Inverter?

Hey everyone, this is my first time posting here! I'm looking for some advice on connecting my solar panels to my Growatt MID 25KTL3-XH inverter. I have 57 Trina TSM-NEG9R.28 455W panels and I want to know if I can configure them into 3 strings of 19 panels each. My main concern is that the panels will be about 75 meters away from my house, so I'm trying to minimize cabling. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The Voc for your setup would be about 52V multiplied by 19 panels, putting you near 1000V; with a max input of 1100V, it seems like you should be okay. Are you planning to use one string for each MPPT tracker?

Exactly, if the Voc is 1014.6V, with a temperature coefficient of -0.24% per °C, you should stay within limits down to about -10°C. It’s a bit snug, but you shouldn’t encounter major issues. Plus, remember that the MPPT trackers have a current limit of 30A/40A ISC, so paralleling two strings per tracker should be fine.

Yeah, that logic makes sense to me!

When setting up long solar runs, it’s wise to check the open circuit voltage (Voc) during the coldest temps expected. If using 19 panels in series puts you too close to the inverter's specs, consider running 4 strings instead. It's better to be safe and have the extra wiring than risk reliability issues.
