I'm wondering if I can set up a second boundary loop for my robot lawnmower and then just pick it up and move it over to the front garden loop near my charging station. Would that work, or do I need a second charging station?

Nah, just adding a second boundary loop won’t do the trick. Your mower needs the original loop to find its way back to the charging station. You might want to consider getting a separate charging station instead!
I don't see why moving it would be a problem! You just have to keep in mind that when it needs to charge, it really needs to be able to find its original loop. Did you try moving it to the front garden and it didn't work?

Yeah, I tried it, but the mower couldn't find the original loop. I might give it another shot later.
