Can I Soundproof My Wall Without Dismantling It?

I live in an end-of-terrace house and the noise from my neighbors is driving me a bit crazy. I'm looking for ways to reduce the sound without having to tear down my drywall. Is there a way to soundproof the wall effectively without going through all that effort?

Have you considered putting up a fence outside? It might help block some of the noise from your neighbors without messing with your walls.

You could look into spray-in foam insulation, but that usually requires opening up the wall to get it in there. So, it might not be the best option if you're trying to avoid any demolition work.

Yeah, that makes sense. Guess I'll need to keep looking for solutions that don’t involve tearing things apart!

Realistically, you're probably not going to achieve complete soundproofing without removing drywall. Even if you add soundproofing materials, vibrations can still travel through the wall studs. To really cut down on noise, you'd need to put in an entirely new sound-treated wall on the other side, which is a big task.
