Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice about our shower tiles. My wife wants to use peel-and-stick 'tiles' to change our existing white marble-look tiles. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether it's possible to stain or paint these tiles to add a hue to them, while still being able to see the original design. Just curious about what people think! Thanks!

Honestly, I’d steer clear of peel and stick tiles in the shower. Painting them isn’t great either. Staining marble is possible but might be more complex than a DIY project, plus the results could be underwhelming. Maybe consider re-tiling if you want a solid change, or just get used to it for now!
Not sure about the practicality, but if you really want a blue tint, just some fun advice: tell those tiles to get ready to turn blue! Honestly, updating us on how it goes would be awesome!
Sounds like a tricky project! But hey, why not give it a shot? Just be prepared for some interesting outcomes, like perhaps blue feet from the dye!

Haha! I actually did peel and stick and used tile paint in my shower. It made a huge difference and lasted for three years until I moved!
