I've got a problem with fungus gnats messing with my tomato seedlings, and I'm thinking about scrapping them to start over. Is it too late to plant new tomato seeds this weekend, or should I just buy some starts from the nursery instead?

Yeah, fungus gnats are pretty annoying, but they usually don't harm your plants. Just keep an eye on the moisture levels!
Fungus gnats aren't going to kill your plants! I've been doing three plantings of tomatoes every year. In fact, my last planting for fall tomatoes is usually around July 1st. With a last frost date in early December, you definitely have enough time to start new ones from seed!
Definitely plant more as a backup! Just make sure you're not overwatering; that can attract those gnats in the first place.

That’s good to hear! But what if my seedlings are starting to lose leaves? Should I move them outside even though they seem too small?
