I've got a set of lights that are controlled by two different switches, and I'm wondering if there's a way to make it so that whenever I flip one switch, the other switch automatically follows. For example, if I turn the lights on using one switch, I want the other switch to also show that it's on. Is this something that can be done reasonably well?

Honestly, have you thought about swapping out your switches for push-button ones? That could make things simpler while still giving you that uniform control. Just a thought!
You might want to look into 3-way switches. They’ve been around for a while and allow for controlling a light from two different switches, but they don't function exactly like what you're describing since they won’t both show the same position. You’re trying to get them to mirror each other, which is trickier!
What you’re looking for is definitely possible! You can set up a system where flipping one switch automatically triggers the other. It's a bit complex, but if you have an electrical engineer friend, she could help you out to rig it properly. Just keep in mind, it might be more complicated than it sounds!
Sounds interesting, but a bit daunting too. It's good to know that it’s possible, even if it's not for the average DIYer!

That makes sense, but maybe there are newer solutions out there that work?
