I have 3.4 bathrooms in my house, but only two of them are actually useful for bathing, since one is just a toilet in the laundry room, which I really dislike. How complicated would it be to convert that toilet into a dog wash instead?

Definitely make sure you have warm water for your pup! Also, keep in mind that if you’re using the toilet drain, you’ll need to install a P-trap somewhere to make it work.
Honestly, it’s not that tough! Since the water and drain are already there, you can do it pretty easily. If you want hot water, it’s a bit more complicated, but with the laundry room nearby, it shouldn’t be a huge hassle.
It depends on what you want! If you want to have warm water for the dog wash, you’ll need to check if the toilet currently uses gray water or fresh water. Not sure what you have? It’s worth looking into!
