Can I Use 2.0 Organizers with Dewalt’s Older Stack System?

Hey everyone! I'm a big fan of Dewalt tools and recently bought my husband an older Dewalt stack system for his mechanic work. He's been struggling for years to keep his tools organized, and I want to help him out. My question is, are the 2.0 organizers compatible with the older systems? Where's the best place to purchase them, and do you have any tips on how to make some organizers myself? I'd appreciate any insights! Thanks a lot!

If your husband's system is the Tstak, then they won't work without an adapter plate. There are separate organizers made specifically for Tstak and the Toughsystem. You can usually find Tstak organizers pretty cheap on Amazon!

Thanks for clarifying, I got him the Toughsystem 1.0!

For the Toughsystem 1.0, just know that the plastic is thicker compared to the 2.0. They do connect, but you'll need that adapter for the Tstak. I love using the adapter; it’s cheap and has slots on the side for hanging tools. Plus, you can mount small bit cases on top! Really helps with organization.

The Toughsystem 1.0 and 2.0 boxes are mostly interchangeable, but you might need an adapter plate for perfect compatibility with Tstak, Toughcase, and Pro Organizer systems.
