Can I Use a Caulk Gun for Adhesive?

I'm curious about why a caulk gun might not be the best choice for using with adhesives, even though the adhesive tube fits in it. The gun is labeled as "ideal for silicone and caulk," but there's no checkbox for adhesives. What gives?

Honestly, if the tube fits, you can likely go for it. Just remember that the gun's main design is for caulk, so it might not perform as well with certain adhesives. But I say if you're in a pinch, give it a shot!
