Can I Use a Dark Energy 18W Solar Panel with My Bluetti AC60 Power Station?

Hey everyone! I just got my hands on a Bluetti AC60 power station (600W, 403Wh) and I received a Dark Energy 18W solar panel as well. I'm curious if I can use them together. I've been reading that it's okay as long as the solar panel has MC4 connectors and the voltage is within the recommended range for the power station, but I'm having trouble finding that info out for this panel. Honestly, I'm pretty clueless about electricity and would appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks a lot!

Honestly, an 18W solar panel isn't really enough for anything substantial with your Bluetti AC60, but it shouldn't damage the unit either. It's more suitable for charging small devices like your phone rather than running larger appliances.

Oh, I see! Thanks for clearing that up!

Exactly! Just keep in mind that the AC60 won’t take any USB inputs, so it’s pretty limited.

From what I know, that Dark Energy panel is mainly for USB devices, not really for larger gear like your AC60. Most solid solar panels meant for power stations start around 50W and have MC4 connectors. If you're not super concerned about weight, I'd suggest looking into a basic 100W panel from brands like Eco-Worthy or HQST, which go for about $50-$60. If you need something portable, check out Dokio or Renogy—they’ve got some good budget options for folding panels.
