I'm trying to figure out if I can drain the water from my portable air conditioner to the window using a hose and an electric pump. Has anyone here tried this setup? I found a pump on Amazon that claims it's suitable for air conditioners. Do you think it has enough power to pump water upwards? If this is feasible, how would I go about it? I really don't want to drill a hole in the air vent panel since it came with the A/C, so I'm considering getting a replacement panel from Amazon. Also, I'm curious if I can close off this new panel to block cold air in the winter. In my mind, I see using some type of connector that has two threads - one for the drain hose inside and another for outside. Plus, I want to add a mesh filter to keep bugs out of the hose.

It sounds like your idea might work! Just make sure the pump is submerged in the A/C's water tank to pump it out effectively. If your A/C doesn't have a tank, grab a condensate pump with its own to handle the job. That will make it easier for you!
I'd love to see how it looks but can't post images here. Can you DM me?
I saw a pretty affordable option with a small internal tank. You can run the output from your A/C directly to it! Check it out [here](https://www.amazon.com/Condensate-Safety-Switch-Conditioners-Dehumidifiers/dp/B0CZQCW1VK).
