I'm wondering if anyone here has tried using an M12/18 charger with a cheap inverter connected to a car battery. I want to charge my tools on the go without spending a fortune on a dedicated 12V DC charger. Any experiences or tips would be appreciated!

I've had success using a standard M12/18 charger with a $30 inverter in my work van. Just a heads-up, I tried a supercharger once and it blew a fuse, so stick with the regular charger. It works great for me!
