Can I Use a US Lava Lamp in the UK Without Issues?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to use a lava lamp I bought from the USA over here in the UK. Do I need to get a step down converter for it? If so, any recommendations for a reliable one? Also, will I have to replace the bulb with a UK one instead of using the American one that came with it? Thanks a ton!

Yeah, you'll definitely need a UK-compatible bulb for your lava lamp since it's designed for 230V. You could just grab a good quality incandescent bulb that matches the output requirements for heat. That’s what helps the wax flow!

Changing the plug or using an adapter is totally fine! Just ensure you match the bulb's heat output to avoid overheating issues. As long as you stick with that, you'll be good to go!
