Can I Use an Air Compressor as a Water Jet for Cleaning?

Hey everyone! I'm considering getting a Milwaukee air compressor and was wondering if I could use it to clean my car and wash down the sides of my house. I'm a bit confused about how to connect my garden hose to the air compressor for this purpose. What kind of tools or attachments do I need to turn my air compressor into a water blasting device? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, you’re looking at the wrong tool for the job. An air compressor isn’t designed to blast water like a pressure washer can. If you want effective cleaning power, you need to invest in a pressure washer instead.

If you’re trying to save cash, there are some garden hose attachments that could work for basic cleaning, but they're not powerful like a pressure washer. You’ll find decent pressure washers starting around a hundred bucks, which is a smarter buy for your needs.

You won’t have much luck with an air compressor for washing. They can destroy themselves if pushed to do things they’re not meant for. Seriously, just get a pressure washer. It's specifically made for that kind of cleaning, and it's worth the investment.
