I recently went through my storage box on my balcony and found a bunch of ceramic pots with designs. I love these pots but they don't have drainage holes. I'm wondering if I can still use them for my household plants or if I should just donate them. Any advice on this would be appreciated!

Yeah, it's common to keep a smaller pot inside a decorative one. It helps with watering and keeps the design intact. Just ensure there's some way for excess moisture to escape if needed, so you don't end up with a soggy root situation!
I find that using cache pots is super handy. They catch any drips and make repotting easier too!
Absolutely! I actually love using ceramic pots without drainage as drip trays. I recommend getting plastic inserts that fit inside. You can plant your plants in the insert and then pop it into the fancy ceramic pot. Just remember to check for standing water at the bottom every now and then to keep things healthy!

I do something similar, which works great for me. That way, the plant can also soak up extra moisture when needed!
