I've got water-based baseboard heaters under my windows, and I've tried hanging short curtains to avoid any hazard from them, but they just look terrible. I'm curious if there are any heat-resistant curtains that can go all the way to the floor. Has anyone found a safe way to manage this without compromising on style?

There's actually no fire hazard with curtains hanging near hydronic baseboard heaters. The water doesn’t get hot enough to ignite fabric. Just make sure to give them a bit of space; around 6 inches is recommended for best efficiency.
Totally agree! There's really no risk of fire if you’re using curtains that drape in front of the heaters. It might reduce efficiency a little, but if your heaters run the length of the wall, a few curtains won't be a big deal. Plus, a stylish curtain can really enhance the look!
