I've noticed my kids have been putting up little printed posters on their walls and I always thought they were using tape. But today, I caught one of them using a purple glue stick instead! I'm curious if this is a good option for sticking things on the walls, or if I should start peeling everything off now. The walls have a nice sheen from the paint, but I'm worried about any grease marks it might leave. Has anyone tried this before?

If you're looking for alternatives, consider using 3M Command strips. They stick well but can be removed easily without damaging the walls or leaving marks, which might save you some trouble in the future!
Be careful with blu-tack though; it can leave greasy marks on the wall over time. As a teacher, I often use blue painter’s tape on drywalls since it doesn’t damage them. For cinder block walls, hot glue works great. Just giving you some options!
Using purple glue sticks should be just fine! They generally dry clear, so you won’t get any visible residue. Just keep in mind that if your kids are going to be active in that room, you might end up needing to repaint when they grow up. But for now, it seems like a good way to decorate without too much hassle!
