I'm looking for some advice about mounting a new TV. I've currently got a Samsung QLED that measures 65 inches and weighs around 53 lbs, but I'm upgrading to a new LG OLED that's 77 inches and lighter at about 52 lbs. My existing wall mount supports up to 75 inches and can handle a weight of 130 lbs. Do I need to replace my mount because the new TV exceeds the size limit by 2 inches? It also matches the VESA specifications for my new TV.

Yeah, it should work just fine. Just make sure everything is secured properly and you're ready to watch some great shows!
You're good to go! Those size limits are generally guidelines. As long as you’re under the weight limit, you shouldn't run into any issues mounting that 77" TV on your current setup.
Remember, the size limit is often related to screen rotation, especially for desktop mounts. As long as it fits and adheres to the VESA standards, you should be all set!
Just keep in mind that the physical load changes with larger screens, but generally, mounts have a safety factor built in. As long as you're not trying to rotate it a ton, you should be alright. The size increase shouldn't be too much of a concern if the weight is within limits and the mount is adjustable.

Thank you! That's a relief!
