Can I Use Powertec Tracks with My Dewalt Track Saw?

I recently got a Dewalt track saw, and I've seen suggestions about using Festool tracks with it. However, I'm curious if the Powertec tracks — which are designed for Festool — would be compatible with my Dewalt saw. Has anyone tried this before? I appreciate any insights!

I’ve been using the Powertec track that’s specifically made for Dewalt, and it works great! From what I’ve read, Dewalt’s design is proprietary, so the Festool tracks likely won’t fit. Just looking at their shapes, it’s obvious they’re different—Dewalt’s rail is centered while Festool’s is positioned to the side. Not sure why folks think Festool will work with Dewalt, but I wouldn't risk it!

Actually, I’ve seen videos where the Dewalt saw runs on Festool tracks! Check out one that goes into it at around the 10-minute mark here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDNeNmNf_gY.
