I'm looking to buy the FOSSIBOT F3600 portable battery to use as a UPS for my entire house by connecting it between my Huawei solar inverter and the home electrical system. The inverter has a maximum output of 3.6 kW. My main concern is what happens if my power consumption exceeds that limit. Will the FOSSIBOT still be able to deliver additional wattage since it's connected to the grid, assuming there's power available? I understand that ideally, I'd add batteries to the inverter, but I'm holding off for now. Also, someone mentioned I should know the 'pass through' current rating for this model, but I'm not sure where to find that information.

Just so you know, it's not grid-tied. If you exceed the pass-through limit, the system will just shut down, or you'll trip the fuse on the grid side. Fossibot doesn't seem to publish a pass-through limit, but it's likely based on the inverter limit of 3600W. To run an entire house off that, you’d really need to manage your power loads closely, focusing on low-wattage appliances to avoid trouble.
Remember, a grid-tie inverter works differently. While it might pull power as you described, it won’t act as a UPS. The 3600W is kind of limiting for a whole house unless you’ve structured your power needs efficiently.
