I'm looking for feedback on using the M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 2 Gal. Electric Compact Quiet Compressor to blow out my sprinkler system for the winter. I have a small yard with 6 zones, and honestly, I don't have any other use for a compressor outside of this task. Is it effective for that purpose, or should I just keep paying a pro to do it? I'm considering buying it if it's affordable, but I'm not sure if it's worth it in the long run.

A good workaround is to look for a used 120v compressor on Facebook Marketplace. You could use it for your blowout and then sell it again for about what you paid. This DEWALT compressor I saw is priced at $150 and offers a better CFM rate compared to the M18 for a better price.
Honestly, I think it may not be the best choice for you. Paying a premium for a cordless compressor when you only need it for one task a year doesn't make much sense. You could easily find a 2-3 gallon corded compressor for about $50-80, which would likely do the job at a fraction of the cost. Plus, if something were to go wrong while using your own equipment, you’d be responsible for repairs, while a pro would handle that risk.
Totally agree! I think paying someone else is better for peace of mind.

Great idea! I didn’t think about buying and reselling. Thanks for the tip!
