I'm looking for a way to put up a temporary backsplash in my rental that looks good and protects the wall. I've come across tin tiles which can be nailed into the wall, and I think that could work since the nails can just be taken out and filled when I move out. The tiles are coated to be rust resistant and are fire resistant, which is great for a kitchen. They also look much nicer than peel and stick options. However, I'm curious if there are any downsides to this choice since I haven't seen many discussions about using tin tiles as temporary backsplashes. Has anyone tried this?

You should totally go for the tin tiles! They look really nice and can definitely add some charm to your kitchen. I get why you're wondering why you don't see them more often, but honestly, it might just be down to trends. They’re not as mainstream as other options, but they can look amazing!

I agree! But I'm just curious about what keeps people from choosing them more often? Is it just style, or are there other concerns with them?
