Can I Use Vinegar, Salt, and Lime to Kill Weeds Near My Orange and Lemon Trees?

I have some orange and lemon trees, but there's a lot of weeds growing around them that I want to eliminate. I've read that a mixture of vinegar, salt, and lime can help kill weeds, but I'm concerned about the impact it might have on my trees. Will using this mixture harm my trees or their growth?

Vinegar is pretty strong stuff and doesn't really differentiate between weeds and other plants. If your trees are well-established, they might survive, but I'd be super cautious using it around younger plants. Always better to play it safe!

Thanks for the heads-up! By the way, if it rains a few days after applying it, will that wash away the effectiveness of the vinegar?
