Can I wrap my brush for water-based deck stain like I do with house paint?

I've got a question about using water-based deck stain. When I typically paint my house, I can't finish all the work in one go, so I wrap my brushes and rollers in Walmart bags to keep the paint from drying. I'm wondering if I can do the same thing with water deck stain? What's the best practice for storing brushes during this project?

Just a heads-up, if you’re using oil-based stains, be cautious. Those materials can catch fire if left wrapped too long, which is a serious hazard. I know two homes that were lost due to that. Definitely something to keep in mind if that's how you plan to store your supplies!
