Can Milwaukee M12 Rover Lights Stick to the Inside Roof of a Car?

I'm often in and out of cars pulling infotainment systems, and since the battery is disconnected, it gets pretty dark inside. I'm looking for a way to light up my work without using a headlamp. I have several M12 batteries already, so I'm curious if any of the M12 Rover lights have strong enough magnets to attach to the car's roof through the headliner.

The M12 underhood light is definitely the way to go. It's super bright and can fit inside the cab easily, giving you a lot of light without hassle!

I usually bring my underhood light and just clamp it around the roof rails. It works great, especially if you leave the front doors open!

I do the same! Works perfectly for what I need.

Yep, that seems to be the best way to go for car interiors.

The magnets on the Rover might not be strong enough to stick through the headliner because of the foam and some aluminum roofs. I’d recommend trying to use two Rover service floods positioned strategically; that should give you good light without needing to rely on the magnets alone.

That's a solid idea. Thanks for the insight on using something other than magnets!
