Can My Couch Fit Through This Doorway?

I just bought a new house and I'm eyeing a couch I really like, but I've hit a snag. The doorway leading to my living room measures 81 inches by 32 inches, and I want to know if I can squeeze the couch through without any issues. Here are the dimensions of the couch pieces I'm considering:
- Left Arm Facing Recliner: 40"W x 43"D x 40.6"H
- Armless Sectional: 34"W x 43"D x 40.6"H
- Right Arm Facing Recliner: 40"W x 43"D x 40.6"H
- Wedge: 51"W x 51"D x 40.6"H
- Armless Chair: 34"W x 43"D x 40.6"H
If it doesn't fit, there's another door that's wider (36 inches), but it comes with the challenge of stairs. Any expert advice? TIA!

You might be able to fit it if you angle it just right. Try standing it on its side, fully opening the recliner, and guiding the top through first. Picture it like a swinging door! Just keep in mind this only works if the space on the other side is clear and not a tight hallway.

Generally, most furniture can get through standard doorways like yours. The main hurdle is when there are tight spaces or narrow hallways that block a direct path. As long as you have enough room on the other side, you should be fine!

That sounds promising! I suspected as much. Thanks for confirming!
