I accidentally killed my blackberry bushes by not giving them enough water and they basically got scorched in the sun. Is there any chance they might rebound next season, or should I just dig them up and say goodbye?

You won’t know for sure until spring rolls around! Try the snap test on the branches: if they snap instead of bend, they’re dead and should be trimmed back. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
There’s a good chance your bushes will come back, but they might not be as fruitful next year. I typically just let mine do their thing after a rough season and don’t pick them either. Just wait and see!
