I'm in a bit of a pickle! Our area won't see sunny days for a couple of months, and I've kept my plants thriving with grow lights around the house. However, my husband wants to hide the lights for 5 days while his college buddies visit, claiming they look 'ugly.' My plants are currently doing really well, putting out new leaves, and I'm worried about how they'll cope without those lights. They might get a little natural light during that time, but will five days without dedicated light set them back, or will they be fine?

It really depends on the type of plants you have. But honestly, if you want to keep the lights on, I say go for it! You’ve got a right to make your plants happy. Plus, they’re not there to judge your décor!

Thanks, I appreciate that! I’m leaning towards keeping the lights on anyway and maybe moving a few plants to a different room.
