Can My Router Handle a 3.25″ Raised Panel Bit?

I'm looking to dive deeper into cabinetry, especially making my own raised panel doors. I currently use a Bosch 1617EVS 2.25hp router, either by hand or with a router table. I'm considering a set of profile bits that includes a 3.25 inch raised panel bit. My question is: is my router powerful enough to handle such a large bit, or should I opt for a smaller raised panel bit or potentially a more powerful router?

I've successfully used Freud 3-piece door bit sets with my Bosch 1617, and it performed just fine. Just remember to pay attention to the RPM settings, and you should be good to go!

Definitely check the router's information for specific limits. It’s always safer to double-check so you don't push your equipment beyond its capabilities.
