Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a thrips problem on my plants and I'm planning to use neem oil as a treatment. However, I want to introduce beneficial nematodes afterwards, specifically Entomen nematodes, and I'm unsure if using neem oil first could harm them. Does anyone know if neem oil will affect these beneficial nematodes?

Actually, neem oil is usually applied only on foliage, not directly on the soil, so I doubt it would kill your nematodes in the soil. However, I’ve read that ground neem residue is sold as a soil amendment and can fight against nematodes, so it's a bit of a mixed bag. Just make sure you’re applying it correctly!
Yeah, applying neem oil could mess with Entomen nematodes. Their product guidelines actually say to avoid using it alongside other pesticides, since it could wipe out their effectiveness. You might want to pick either the neem oil or the nematodes for your treatment, but not both at the same time.
