Can Pothos Thrive Outdoors?

I've got a bunch of pothos plants indoors and was thinking of moving one out to my covered, east-facing patio. It's shaded by some big River Birch trees, so it only gets dappled sunlight in the mornings. I repotted it into a hanging pot that drains well, but I'm worried it might be struggling after two weeks outside. Are these plants okay outdoors, or should I bring it back inside?

Absolutely! I've had mine outside during the summer here in the Midwest and they seem to thrive. Just keep an eye on them because they can really suck up the water when they're out there!

How much sun do you give yours? Mine kind of struggles with just a bit of morning sunlight and I keep it mostly in the shade. It still looks sad, and the leaves are turning yellow.

Yeah, pothos can definitely live outside! They’re tough little guys. In fact, they can be invasive in some places. Just give them the right conditions and they'll do well!
