Hey everyone! I'm looking at using a DeWalt DCF610 drill for a heavy art installation at my gallery. I need to know if it's powerful enough to handle drilling into stone. Any insights or experiences with this? Thanks in advance!

I've used the DCF610, and while it's great for wood and metal, stone is a whole different beast. You could try it, but I wouldn't be surprised if you hit a wall—figuratively and literally! Good luck with your installation!
Honestly, the DCF610 might struggle with stone since it's not really designed for that kind of tough material. You might want to consider a more robust drill or possibly a hammer drill instead. Just a heads up if you're looking to make those clean cuts!

Yeah, definitely go for a hammer drill if you're working with stone. It makes a huge difference!
