I'm working on a project to modify an aluminum trailer, and while I usually use my circular saw fitted with an aluminum blade, there are some tight spaces where it just won't fit. I own a corded Sawzall, but I'm looking to justify getting a new tool. I need to make 4 cuts, so I'm wondering if the M18 Hackzall will do the job for cutting 3" by .1875" aluminum square tubing. What do you think?

With the right metal cutting blade and battery, you can definitely cut through that aluminum like it’s nothing! It should handle the job pretty smoothly.
For sure! I actually used my Hackzall to cut through 5-inch cast iron pipe without any issues, so I bet it’s going to slice through your aluminum tubing easily too!

Absolutely, a good metal blade will make all the difference. Just be sure to get one that's designed for aluminum.
