Can Wood Glue Fix a Split Bed Frame?

I have a small split in my bed frame that's a couple of inches long and about an inch deep. I'm wondering, would wood glue alone be strong enough to repair it?

From what you've described, wood glue should definitely work, but there are a few things to keep in mind. If you can close the split tightly before applying the glue, then it should hold well. If the split is too wide or can't be closed, the glue might not bond effectively since it doesn't hold strength over gaps.

Totally a maybe! If you’re able to clamp the split closed while the glue dries, you should be good to go. Just keep in mind that if the split is caused by drying out and won’t close, the glue won’t be much help.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll try to get it clamped and see how it goes!
