I've recently gotten into cooking and I'm really enjoying it! I came across this guy named Bob from 'From Scratch' and it inspired me to think about growing my own food and selling what I cook or bake. I'm young, and this is my dream, but I'm not sure if it's a feasible way to earn a living. Is it really sustainable to try to make a full-time income from homegrown food?

It's probably not possible to rely entirely on homegrown food for a living. If you wanted to scale up, you would effectively become a farmer, but then you'd lose time for cooking and might only be able to grow a couple of crops. Plus, sourcing other ingredients would be necessary. So it's more complicated than it seems!
Honestly, making a living solely off homegrown produce and cooking is really tough. You could definitely turn it into a side hustle, but unless you have a full commercial kitchen and a team cranking out tons of food, it’s unlikely you’ll make a stable income. Keep pursuing your passion though! Cooking is a great skill to have! ?
Remember, those influencers you see online living off their gardens often aren't actually making a living that way. They're generating income from views, ads, and sponsorships, not just from the produce they grow. It's all about the audience they attract rather than the crops they cultivate!
