Choosing Between M18 Fuel and DEWALT MAX XR Recip Saws: What’s Your Take?

I'm in the market for a cordless reciprocating saw, mainly for DIY projects around the house. I've narrowed my options down to the Milwaukee M18 Fuel and the DEWALT 20V MAX XR. I'm curious to hear about any advantages one might have over the other. Are there specific features I should consider before making a decision? Thanks for your insights!

First off, think about what batteries you've got for your tools. If you already have a battery system for one of these brands, it might be worth sticking with that to save on extra costs. Both saws are solid, but if you're looking at just the tools themselves, the M18 Fuel is pretty ergonomically designed for homeowner tasks and should handle most jobs well without the bulk of the bigger models.

I've only used the Milwaukee models, but if you’re already investing around $200, consider going for the Super Sawzall instead. I personally felt a difference using the oscillating feature; it makes such a huge difference in performance for demo work. It’s like a beast when it comes to getting through tougher material.
