Hey everyone! I'm working on a DIY force feedback wheel project, similar to the Logitech G29, using two RS775 motors with a 3:1 gear ratio. I'm trying to figure out what power supply to use: is a 12V/20A better, or should I go with a 24V/15A? I'm a bit worried that 24V might be pushing it since the current is only 15A, and I'm not sure if that will handle the stall current for both motors. On the flip side, I feel like using 12V might not give me enough torque for a solid experience. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Going with the 24V/15A power supply is your best bet since it provides more total power (360W) compared to the 12V/20A option (240W). If you're using a motor controller, it’ll manage the current, so you should be fine with the 15Amps!

That's reassuring! But will running at 15A cause the motors to heat up significantly, or is that a normal operating rate?
