Comparing Off-Grid Inverter Chargers: Sol-Ark, Renogy, or EG4?

Hey everyone! I'm building an off-grid home in Wisconsin and need some advice on choosing the right inverter. I'm currently considering three options: Sol-Ark, Renogy, and EG4. I've found some links to each, but I'm a bit overwhelmed by the price differences and uncertainty about their dependability. Has anyone had experience with these brands? Is there one that stands out as the best all-in-one solution for my needs?

These brands are quite different from one another. Sol-Ark is a professional-grade inverter, and I suggest investing a bit more in the 15kW version for its unbeatable features. On the flip side, Renogy tends to target budget buyers and might not meet all installation codes. As for EG4, it's loved by the DIY community and improves year by year, but I'd be cautious to fully trust it for professional installations. In short, for durability and performance I’d go for Sol-Ark, while keeping an eye on EG4 for DIY setups.

If I were you, I'd consider Victron instead, but out of the three you listed, I'd avoid Renogy. They don’t seem as reliable as the others. Renogy just doesn’t justify the cost especially if you need more features like split-phase.
