Comparing the DCS391 and DCS595 Circular Saws: Which is Better?

I'm looking to get some insights on the DCS391 and DCS595 circular saws. I've heard they differ quite a bit, especially with one being brushed and the other brushless. If you've used either of them, what are your thoughts? Any specific pros or cons? Thanks for sharing your experiences!

If you meant the DCS565 instead of a 595 (since I haven't heard of a 595), I can tell you that I really like the 565. It's a great upgrade from my old DC390 which was brushed and gave me some kickback issues. Since switching, I've had no problems with kickback at all!

I've been using the DCS391 since 2016 for my weekend projects, and it's been fantastic for home use. No issues at all, really happy with its performance!

From what I've researched, the brushed DCS391 is lighter and sometimes offers better performance in certain areas. It's worth noting that neither saw seems to clearly outshine the other. If you're considering options, keep in mind their different features!

Just to clarify, the DCS391 is around 115.2 oz while the DCS565 weighs about 100.8 oz. The DCS566 is similar to the 565 but has a stamped baseplate instead of cast.

I've got a chance to grab the DCS391 for $75 at Tractor Supply. What's the best price you've seen for a bare DCS595?
