Concerned About High Frequency Radiation at Home: What Should I Do?

Hey everyone! I'm really curious about high frequency radiation that might be coming from devices in my house. I know that there's always some background radiation, particularly near things like routers or multi-plug outlets, but I've been measuring levels that are consistently over 800 uW/m² throughout my rooms. Occasionally, I see spikes above 2000, which makes my device alarm go off! From what I've read, the suggested safe level for these peaks is under 500. I'm wondering what my options are here. Should I get someone to do an inspection, or what else could I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, I think you might want to take a step back and consider focusing on things that can REALLY affect your health, like stress or anxiety about all this. Some people get too caught up in worrying about this type of radiation. It might be helpful to look at other areas of your life that need attention instead.

But you have to admit, a lot of folks are unaware of the difference between harmful and harmless radiation. It's kind of alarming.

Yeah, but dismissing people's concerns about EMF just because they sound conspiracy-related is a bit dismissive. There’s a lot we still don’t understand about these things.

Have you tried turning everything off in your house and then measuring again? It could give you a clearer picture of where the radiation is coming from and if it's really a concern.

I’m planning to do that next! Definitely will help isolate the sources.

What kind of device are you using to measure this radiation? I've seen some wild gadgets out there that can be pretty misleading.

It's the HF35C on peak mode.

Ah, I’ve heard of that! It's pretty reputable. Just make sure you’re using it properly for the most accurate readings.

Every time I’m outside, I feel like I'm bombarded by radiation too! It's intense, but the trees and plants seem to thrive! Just remember, it’s all part of our environment.

That’s a valid point! But maybe it’s a different kind of radiation we should be worried about?

Right? It's crazy how our bodies adapt to so much nowadays.
