I'm looking to repair my driveway, which is primarily concrete but has some asphalt on top from a previous job. There are quite a few serious potholes where the asphalt has completely worn away, leaving just the concrete underneath. I'm curious if I should stick with concrete for the repairs or switch to asphalt. What do you think?

If you're considering repairs, keep in mind that putting asphalt over existing concrete isn't a long-term solution. Most reputable asphalt companies won't recommend it because it tends to fail. The best way to go is to remove the entire driveway and start fresh, regardless of whether you choose concrete or asphalt for the new surface.
You might want to try a quick fix first by using one of those asphalt patching buckets on one of the potholes. It could give you an idea of how it holds up before making a bigger decision.
Overall, concrete generally lasts longer if everything is done correctly. Just keep in mind it tends to be more expensive compared to asphalt.
