Connecting a Two-Wire Start Generator to My Inverter

Hi everyone! We're completely off-grid here in New Zealand and trying to figure out how to connect our two-wire start generator (GT4000ESI) to our inverter (Deye). I just want to confirm which wires I need to connect. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I noticed that some manuals don't clearly mention the two-wire start feature, but if your generator indeed has it, you should be able to find the right terminal connections. Usually, one wire connects to the start terminal, and the other to a common ground. Make sure to double-check the generator’s manual for specifics!

Totally! I recommend looking for any markings on the generator itself; they can often provide clues about the wire connections.
