I'm a beginner looking to buy a track saw to simplify working with plywood for some built-ins. I've found a couple of used options and would love to get your thoughts on them. There's a Bosch track saw available for $400 that comes with two 65-inch tracks, a bag, clamps, and a track connector. Plus, I can pick it up just 40 minutes away. The other option is a Festool T55; it's priced at $450 and includes a single 4-foot track, but the silicone guide strip is coming off, and it's about 1.5 hours away from me. What do you think is the better deal?

I’ve had a good experience with a Menards brand track saw, which is like a copy of others. But I did invest in good clamps since the originals weren’t great. If you're looking for something straightforward, either the Bosch or Festool are terrific choices—play around with both if you can!
I'd go for the Bosch! I bought a corded Bosch track saw years ago and never looked back. It's way cheaper than Festool and has been super reliable. Plus, getting two tracks and all those accessories for $400 is a fantastic deal. You can even create your own MFT hinge setup to break down material easily, which significantly helped me out. Just my two cents!
Honestly, I'm a bit biased since I own a Festool, but I think it's a solid option, especially since it works with numerous other track systems. If the build quality appeals to you and if you're planning on expanding your setup later, it might be worth that extra $50. But keep in mind the Bosch gives you a complete setup right away, which is hard to pass on.
