Considering Alternatives to Ring for Outdoor Cameras?

I'm revamping my home and thinking about adding a few more outdoor cameras. I'm curious if anyone here has experience with options other than Ring. What do you currently use? Do they offer continuous monitoring or only record with motion detection? What about subscription fees? And can they facilitate two-way communication? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I’ve tried a few brands: Ring, Arlo, and Blink, and honestly, each has its drawbacks. I really miss the reliability of my old hardwired POE system.

I decided to stick with Ring since it just works for me, and honestly, I've got a lot on my plate already. It integrates well with what I have.

I'm using Amcrest 4K POE along with a POE switch and a DVR. The image quality is fantastic, and I prefer the hardwired setup. It beats my previous experiences with wireless cameras.

I use REOlink POE. If you're able to run the wires, I really recommend going with POE; it's super reliable.

Thanks for the tip! I'll look into REOlink.
